Be on course

From upskilling to fullpackage qualifications, there are a range of hair and beauty courses available, which are taking place both online and in the classroom

1 Corrective Balayage with Wella
Wella Professionals has launched Corrective Balayage, a one-day advanced craft course that helps you to master skills such as reverse balayage and the art of diffusing dark bands to achieve results, even when working on uneven surfaces. The course aims to teach you to manage clients’ expectations, and ensure that offering balayage as a colour-corrective service is profitable for you and the salon. Key learnings include the ‘business of balayage’ – timing and profitability; colour services menu and column planning; reverse balayage – darkening over lightened hair; and diffusion of dark bands – lightening previously coloured hair. This course will take place in the Wella Studio in Dublin on 1 September and 23 November. To book or for more information, email wellastudioddublin@wella.com
