As summer comes to a close, this is the first autumn since before the pandemic that the Irish hair, beauty and spa industry can look forward to with such positivity. While this time last year, Ireland was preparing for another inevitable lockdown, by mid-August this year, more than 77% of the adult population were fully vaccinated and 89% were partially vaccinated. Furthermore, the Irish economy is set to rebound more quickly than anticipated in 2021, and is now on schedule to return to pre-pandemic levels and above as early as 2022.

We have plenty of advice, tips and information in this issue to steer you along this path of predicted growth. With the ‘new normal’ firmly established, our spa treatments feature looks at how the global spa industry, along with brands, have adapted in order to prosper. Brow treatments are still among the most requested salon services, and we focus on some of most popular ones in 2021 to explain how they can boost your business.
