“In Spanish we use accents to give meaning to words. I wanted to explore accents in hair – the accent could be created by a bold colour, or a contrasting texture and a strong silhouette. Once the initial idea was in my head I drew the ideas on paper and I started looking for different references in fashion, art, architecture and nature.”
