With Professional Beauty & Hair taking place in Dublin’s RDS on 6 and 7 November, here’s the second part of our preview to give you a taster of what to expect at the much-anticipated event

Repêchage Ireland is launching its new education programme at this year’s show. In addition, the brand will be showcasing the two lines it introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic. These are the Hydra Dew Facial for dry, compromised skin, which will now be part of the oncology aesthetic programmes taught by Iguazu Beauty owner Louise O’Loughlin; and the Vita Cura Cellusea range, which targets specific areas of the body that are of concern to clients. These new treatments will be demonstrated live at the Repêchage stand over the two-day show.

Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies will be bringing a wide range of its products to this year’s show, along with a variety of offers and promotions. The company, which has been supplying Ireland’s hair and beauty salons for almost 50 years, will be showcasing some of the latest innovations from names such as Aromawax, which uses pure essential oils and natural rosins in its formulas; Australian brow brand Brow Code; and Kulture74, which offers a collection of hair-styling tools and accessories, from brushes to hairdryers.

Kihco Hair Supplies will be at this year’s event, showcasing a range a products, including Qiqi Vega, which offers permanent or semi-permanent hair straightening and smoothing results, without harsh chemicals. Suitable for all hair types, clients can receive a colour service on the same day. The company is also introducing Spraight, a spray-on keratin and collagen treatment for long-lasting straightening and smoothing results. Containing pro vitamin B5, along with seven different herbal extracts that are beneficial to both hair and scalp, this quick and easy service promises to eliminate frizz and enhances the nutrition of the hair.

Visit the V.Claire stand to learn more about the company’s skincare lines, including Centella, a phytoaromatic brand that matches the needs of all skin types with anti-ageing, hydrating, cleansing and exfoliating products for the face and body. The specially formulated range meets the requirements of beauticians as it can be used both in salons and at home, with the products combining aesthetic technical experience and cosmetic innovation for comprehensive and effective care.

Stop by The Hair Doctor stand to see the newly-launched Universal Shower Filter, which uses a-20 stage filtration system to remove chlorine, manganese, bacteria, smells, impurities, iron and other heavy metals from the hair. The filter is the brainchild of Wexford salon owner Keara Howard, who will be on hand to explain the impact of hard water on the hair and scalp, as it causes a variety of issues such as dryness, frizz and dandruff. Her new invention, which can be fitted in just two minutes, promises to tackle these issues, resulting in healthier hair.

Visit the Skin Philosophy Training stand to find out more about its education offering. Founded in 2011 by Annalouise Kenny, the company promises to give students an in-depth knowledge of the science of skin, creating a high standard in the next generation of therapists. As a provider of product-neutral education, including the latest and most advanced skin treatment techniques, Skin Philosophy Training has centres across the UK and Ireland, delivering eduction in small group sizes in a wide range of treatments such as laser, peels, microneedling, LED therapy and tattoo removal.

Emi Ireland will be at this year’s show with a range of its gel and acrygel products, including its Builder In a Bottle Fiber Base Gel with reinforcing synthetic fibres and vitamins. The fibres promise to protect the nail plate from brittleness and delamination, while the vitamin E and calcium incorporated into the composition produce a reinforcing and strengthening effect, promoting the natural growth of healthy nails. Emi experts will be at the stand to answer all your questions, and assist in selecting products that work best for your business.

Stop by the Klapp stand to learn more about the 40-year-old German professional cosmetics brand. Klapp products are formulated with scientific expertise and are available in over 60 countries, including Ireland. The company is constantly developing and innovating its range, and will be showcasing a variety of lines, including daily skincare, anti-ageing solutions and Christmas gift sets. It will also have a free trial facial booth, where visitors can test Klapp products on their own skin.

Visit the Ciaobrow stand, where the brow and lash brand will be showcasing its Fusion Henna Tint system for tinting eyelashes and eyebrows. Combing the benefits of henna with the ease of a tint, it can be used with any lamination or lash lift products. Offering nine different shades to cater to the requirements of clients with varied hair colours and skin tones, there are unique shades for blondes, brunettes, red heads and black hair. The colours are interchangeable to help you find the one to best suit your client.

The Gel Bottle team will be on hand at this year’s event to showcase the brand’s product range, which offers a selection of over 360 unique colours to satisfy every client’s taste. As a manufacturer and worldwide supplier of professional gel nail products and accessories, The Gel Bottle has also developed builder gel systems for both natural nails and extensions. The company’s gel polishes are highly pigmented and chip-resistant, and promise long-lasting shine. They are also vegan and cruelty-free, and don’t contain formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde resin or camphor.

Blink Professional will be showcasing its Wonder Bond Lash Adhesive, which is the newest addition to the brand’s adhesive range. The adhesive is also triple-purified to give it a longer life and fewer impurities. Blink Professional will also be bringing its full range of lashes to the show, including YYs, Classic, Volume and its new pre-made fans.

Fully integrated with Phorest software, they allow you to have one seamless system for taking payment from clients, from when they book an appointment to when they tap their card at checkout. PhorestPay Card Terminals promise a range of business benefits, such as a speed-up in time spent at the front desk; a reduction in end-of-day reconciliation at cash-up; and the cutting out of manual errors that come from keying in amounts.

The Venus Concept team will be showcasing a wide range of the company’s medical and aesthetic technology this year. Creative Academy will be showcasing a range of its Gelish and Andreia Professional lines, including several new products, such as the Gelish & Morgan Taylor I Wanna Dance Holiday Winter 2022 Collection. Created in collaboration with the Sony movie I Wanna Dance With Somebody, the collection features six shades inspired by Whitney Houston. Other hightlights at the stand include the Gelish VORTEXTM Portable Nail Dust Collector, the Gelish Go-File Hybrid Electric File and Andreia Professional HybridGel Polish, which is a two-step manicure and features new gel fusion technology.

Stop by the Million Dollar Facial stand to find out more about this luxury treatment that combines techniques of microneedling, dermaplaning and chemical peels. Founded by Jenna Unwin, a semipermanent make-up artist and skincare technician, the brand began wth one treatment and now contains multiple protocols, along wih the Medi + Cosmeceutical homecare range, which compromises medical-grade products, along with nutraceutical cocktail drinks to complement, maintain and enhance the results achieved by the Million Dollar Facial System. The team will be on hand at the show to answer questions, share information about the brand’s techniques, and to launch its new HA4C product, and the Ultra Million, a new facial and body sculpting device.

Voesh will be showing a range of its skincare and wellbeing products at this year’s exhibition. With a mission to empower its customers to make more conscious choices by giving them access to clean, effective solutions, the brand has a focus on self-care, which it believes everyone deserves. It also believes that what’s not in its formulas is just as important as what is, so its offering is 100% vegan, free from phthalates, parabens, mineral oil, triclosan, benzophenone and formaldehyde, and comes in minimalist packaging.

Stop by the Italwax stand to learn more about the Italian wax brand. Promising to remove hair on any part of the body, its specifically developed plasticity means it is easily applied by a spatula on large surfaces, and then forms a thin film that grabs even the shortest and hardest hairs. Formulated in a private laboratory in Milan, the factory is fitted with innovative equipment that retains the natural and organic raw materials used during the production process. All Italwax waxes have a high adhesiveness, which makes the hair removal procedure more effective, fast, safe and relatively painless for the client.

With a mission to create a safe, fun, engaging and inclusive learning space for all students from every life path, and tutors with more than two decades of industry experience across a range of specialities, the academy teaches a wide variety of courses in make-up, beauty and advanced aesthetics.

Visit the Green Salon Collective (GSC) stand to learn more about the organisation’s vision is to raise the standard of the hair and beauty industry by enabling salons to become more ethical and sustainable environments. According to GSC, its recycling programme, together with its education and accreditation programmes, facilitates salons and other businesses in the sector to gain new like-minded clients by becoming ethical, sustainable businesses.

Irish beauty brand Blank Canvas will be at the show with a range of its beauty tools. Founded by Úna Tynan in 2011, the brand promises premium products at budget prices, with the collection including a wide variety of natural and vegan products. It will be showcasing a range of its most popular make-up brushes, while also offering promotions and discounts over the two days.

Annutri is an Irish brand that will be showcasing its supplements and skincare products at this year’s event. These include its Grow It supplement, which is a blend of vitamins and minerals formulated to promote healthy hair growth; its Grow It Scalp Oil, which is a natural ayurveda formulation to promote healthy hair growth and scalp; and its Grow It Scalp Brush, which massages and invigorates the scalp.

The Salon & Spa Co will be at the show with a range of its brands and professional treatment systems. These include CACI, which offers advanced non-surgical face and body treatments that promise to deliver instant, visible results; and Skeyndor, which will be launching Spa Senses at this year’s show, and offering discounts on all opening orders. The company will also be showcasing other brands, such as Margaret Dabbs London, Fedua Nails, Scrummi Towels, Three Warriors and Mii Cosmetics.

Visit the Knotty Brush stand to learn about the Irish hair brush brand that was created with healthy, happy hair in mind. Designed to protect the hair’s elasticity, Knotty Brush products are made to glide seamlessly through wet or dry hair, eliminating frizz in the kindest and most gentle way possible. Their flexible, soft top bristles aim to detangle effortlessly and reduce breakage, while also promoting the creation of healthy, natural oils.

Cosmeditech will be at the show to share information about the aesthetics technology supplier’s range of devices, including the Eneka Pro diode laser for hair removal. Cosmeditech recently opened a new centre in Ballymount in Dublin, and the team will be at the RDS to explain how the devices work, and how investing in one can make your salon more profitable. Information will also be available on training options and technical support.

Kreative Salon Supplies will be at the show with the brand new award-winning Gama iQ2 hairdryer, which is now as light as a smartphone, and will be offered to show attendees with a 20% discount. It will also be showcasing its line of Alter Ego Christmas sets. Kreative Salon Supplies was recently appointed Irish distributor for Leader Scissors and will be introducing the Italian’s brand’s range.
