Since launching the Eneka PRO almost a year ago, J’adore Aesthetic Skincare and Beauty Specialists has been seeing the benefits

As the first clinic in Ireland to introduce the Eneka PRO, J’adore Aesthetic Skincare and Beauty Specialists in Co Clare is about to mark its first year of success with the diode laser machine.

Located in Killaloe town, J’adore is an award-winning, five-star salon that currently employs a team of eight. Owner and clinical director Susan Robinson Kol has steadily grown the business since she opened it 16 years ago, despite some challenges along the way.

“I initially trained in 2000,” she says. “I opened J’adore in 2007, so after riding the storm of the recession in 2008, I know how to navigate the business through an economic downturn.”

After doubling her clinic size in 2019, Robinson Kol realised she could be looking at another difficult period when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the following year. “By then, I had a state-of-the-art clinic with the latest, most advanced, non-surgical skincare treatments available on the market, using top skincare brands, such as Environ, Cliniccare and Germaine de Capuccini. But I didn’t know if this would be enough as I was conscious that we could be facing into another hard spell.

“The possibility of another downturn meant I was going to have to plan ahead. I was aware that I needed to find a solution that would benefit my business, both from a client and profitability perspective. After investing so much in a refurbishment, I wanted to make J’adore a secure business that would survive any challenging times.”

After months of research, Robinson Kol reached the conclusion that laser hair removal would be a really good fit for her business. “So many times I’d heard clients, particularly younger ones, say that they were only getting waxing treatments done until they could afford to get laser. I knew I needed to keep these clients, that I needed to offer the newest generation what they wanted, and keep them coming back to us.”

J’adore teamed up with Cosmeditech to launch the Eneka PRO. With multiple power and wavelength options, meaning the system can be tailored for clinic requirements, the diode laser device allows quick, safe and effective laser hair removal treatments. Results are guaranteed on all skin types and phototypes due to the high power, large spot size and multiple wavelengths.

According to Robinson Kol, the machine has surpassed expectations. “It’s really popular with our younger clients. Now our older clients, who trust our opinion, have hopped on board to take their own laser journeys, and are thrilled with the results. The feedback from all our clients has been incredible.
