Welcome to Professional Beauty & Hair 2024, in partnership with Irish Beauty and headline sponsor Treatwell. The ultimate beauty and hair event is bigger and better than ever this year! From Irish start-ups to global names, the event features over 100 exhibitors, who are showcasing their latest product launches and innovations for you to take back to the salon with you.

As you browse some of the biggest brands and learn more about their newest offerings, you can stop by our live stages for education and skills demonstrations. The Hair & Barbering Stage will host some talented stylists as they create a range of looks that you can replicate on your clients. The Skin & Advanced Treatments Stage will see a number of industry experts share their knowledge on different skin concerns and treatments. And new for this year, the Business & Trends Stage will highlight the various ways you can stand out in your sector.

The Nail Competitions return to this year’s show – with eight categories, entrants are being invited to demonstrate their creativity and skills as they compete for a chance to raise their profile in the industry. Also back are the Make-up Competitions. From bridal looks to bodypaint, this is an opportunity for talented MUAs to create winning looks.

Meanwhile, this issue has lots of tips on how to stay profitable over the coming season. With combination treatments rising in popularity, we explain why radiofrequency and microneedling work well together. Our scissors feature tells you everything you need to know about investing in the best pair for your needs. We also chat to some MUAs about the hottest looks this summer.
